She's worked in the medical field for 25 years, including family practice. Cynthia is a member of PAHCOM (Professional Association of Healthcare Office Management).

Linda Hannemann, radiology manager.  Linda works closely with the radiology transcriptionists and acts as liason between the client and the transcriptionists to ensure accurate and complete reports in a timely manner.  She graduated from Texas A&M Extension Service Transcription School and has worn a variety of hats in the transcription industry.

Corporate History

More than 20 years ago, Mary Lou Tunnicliffe was working as a contract medical transcriptionist at a hospital in Austin, Texas. With a family to raise, she wanted more control over her schedule along with work-at-home flexibility.

So Mary Lou started her own transcription business, Medical Transcription Service, and began hiring transcriptionists as word of mouth caused business to flourish.

Today, MTS is still a family-owned business. But with more than 130 transcriptionists and some leading hospital systems, clinics and private practices as clients, MTS is becoming a force in the medical-transcription industry. MTS is one of the first medical transcription service companies to offer its own training and internship program.
